Kenya: Hoyt & Lois Osborne
The Osbornes, Hoyt and Lois stepped out into Kenya late in their lives in 1988 for the sole purpose of bringing the true Gospel to a country open to all religions.
The pastors of their 14 church plants (one named after Pathway) are local men trained by the Osbornes, many adopted from childhood. They founded the Kenya Evangelical Bible College to raise up even more new pastors for the accelerating local church growth. The College's Pathway Kiosk has also become a reliable source of safe, clean drinking water for the neighboring villagers.
The Osbournes constantly need our prayers for:
- Hoyt's precarious medical condition, complications with Parkinsons Disease, a fragile spine, and attacks from the enemy
- The Kenya Evangelical Mission is often threatened for extortion; kidnappings and demands for ransom are not uncommon. The tempations of greed and deception are the enemy's favorite tactics.
The Osbornes always welcome our visiting preachers, evangelists, teachers, trainers, servants and friends, look for an opportunity to serve along side Hoyt and Lois!
